Membership
All participants of Disability Sport Auckland automatically become members. Members are eligible for scholarships, can register for use of the Auckland Spinal Unit Gym as a community user (conditions apply), are invited to our annual events and will receive regular updates from the team at Disability Sport Auckland and other important national and international news.

Support us! Within Auckland, only 19.5% of the physically disabled participate in sport and active recreation, against 35.5% of the non-disabled population. This shocking inequality is likely an underestimation, so the need to invest in quality, sustainable provision is clear.
Most disability sports (especially for those in a wheelchair) require costly equipment, (an average sports chair costs about $3500). Your support will help us to provide equitable access to our community - and this work makes a real difference! Our members enjoy tremendous benefits, physically, socially and emotionally.
