We are excited to announce that Disability Sport Auckland will be participating in the Power in the Park event for the second year in a row! This incredible event, hosted by Permobil New Zealand, will take place on Thursday 12th September at Eden Park. It promises to be a day filled with fun, community spirit, and empowering activities for all.
What is Power in the Park?
Power in the Park is a unique event designed to bring together individuals of all abilities for a day of inclusion. Whether you’re looking to try out new adaptive sports, connect with others in the disability community, or simply enjoy a day out in the park, there’s something for everyone.
What to Expect
At this year’s Power in the Park, you can look forward to:
Inclusive Sports and Activities: Join in on a variety of adaptive sports and recreational activities that are open to everyone, regardless of ability. This is a great opportunity to try something new or simply enjoy your favorite sport in a supportive environment.
Information and Support: Meet with representatives from various organizations, including our team at Disability Sport Auckland, to learn more about the services and programs available to support individuals with disabilities.
