Badminton Have A Go Day!

We had a fantastic time on Saturday 22nd February at the All Disabilities Badminton Open Day!

This event was held at the Auckland Badminton Centre and was a fantastic collaboration between Auckland Badminton, Badminton Oceania & us and it was a joy to watch the coaches teach new skills and see athletes of all abilities competing together. The inclusive atmosphere and the players having such a great time on the courts made it even more special!

This have a go day showed us the power of finding an inclusive sport that people with different disabilities can all compete at. It also showed the importance of promoting sports that are advocates for the disability community!

We’re really looking forward to the future of this collaboration and promoting the sport of Badminton to the community.
