DSA’s Inclusive Sports Club: Building Future Athletes

Building Future Athletes at DSA’s Inclusive Sports Club

At Disability Sport Auckland, we believe that everyone deserves a place in sport, and our Inclusive Sports Club (ISC) is dedicated to providing a welcoming space for children and youth with disabilities to thrive. The Inclusive Sports Club is a term-based programme designed to help kids develop essential movement skills and introduce them to a variety of sports in a safe, inclusive environment. Each session is tailored to meet diverse needs, focusing on coordination, agility, and confidence. With qualified coaches and adaptive sports equipment, the ISC ensures all participants feel engaged and motivated. We’re inspired by the Canadian Physical Literacy Consensus Statement, which advocates for skill development for all ages and abilities—helping us shape future athletes, one session at a time. Our members have shown tremendous growth, both on and off the field, making ISC a vital part of Auckland’s disability sports landscape.

The Inclusive Sports Club is more than just a programme; it’s a pathway to opportunity, confidence, and community. Join us in building the next generation of athletes.
